Colt question...

I have a nice pearl handled Official Police .38 I have been waitng to take to the range. My question is, can it use +P rounds or do I need to stick with .38 special rounds...thanks.

While it could probably handle +P rounds, probably wouldn't hurt to stick to ammo with standard pressures. I've got an older model colt trooper in .38spl that I shoot quite a bit and I just stick to standard loads.

The 4" barrel. I've had it since last summer when my father-in-law passed away.Just so happens that I had a nice police belt with cartridge holders and a holster that fit perfectly, I feel like a 40's cop. I'm pretty excited to take it out this Monday...I'm not a big handgun guy (I like them, but I only have three, two S&W's, .38 blued 3" model 10, a stainless 2 ' which I use for home protection, and the Colt)...I'm addicted to bow hunting, very time consuming. Someday a nice pistol...
