I just bought one exactly like you want off of gunbroker NIB. I haven't had a chance to mount a scope on it or fire it. It is a BDL custom deluxe. They are a discontinued gun and mine is not for sale. Mine is beautiful and has some real nice wood. Go to gunbroker is my advise. I just looked up my records and I gave $580 S&H to my ffl. $20 for him brought it to $600 with no sales tax. here is what gunbroker 1 of 3 thatshows today http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.asp?Item=48314624

There are two 700 BDL's in .222 Rem. for sale in the latest (June) issue of "Gunlist". If you wish, I can e-mail you a copy of the ads. Give me a PM and let me know............

Remington lists them as current on their production. Haven't seen a used one in a reeeeal long time. Love the cartridge though.

Biscuit, I called Remington this am and they said they have been making BDL' in .222 since the 60's. Man I don't know where I got that idea that they were discontinued. Sorry guys

I had a BDL in 222 for awhile. Sweet little gun, but I just had to have a new shotgun, so it got traded. I have regeted that move ever since.

Another caliber I want to get to round out my varmint collection is a .17 Rem. They are a very accurate round. Ammo choices are slim though. Still a neat caliber.
