I have an older Rem 760 in .308. I want to keep the traditional wood stock, but I have a problem. The forend is severely cracked. I was just wondering if anyone has a forend lying around they wouldn't mind parting with. Compensation can be discussed.

You can put a 870 forend on it. The rails are all the same.

I have one that I can't part with.I going to refinish them and put them back on. I put a Ramline on mine to hunt with. Since I'm not going to use it hunting anymore I want to put the original back on.I'll keep an eye open for you in my travels. Good luck.

What? I put a pistol grip forend for an 870 on my 760. Matched it up with a synthetic pistol grip stock and a hi-cap mag. I eventually took it off and went back to the original stock. If a democrat saw it, they would make a law against it.[8D]

I have a 760 308 as well, great gun, but dont have an extra forend laying around. If i did you could have it.

No pics, that pistol grip on the front and rear messed up the way I had to carry it in the brush, so they weren't on there long. It did look cool though. The guy I sold it to was very interested in putting that stuff back on, so if I get the chance, I'll take pics. I hate democrats too.
