TOETOE,
I have a model 19 in .38 special combat. It is a really good revolver. I don't know today's value on it, but you're 700 may be worth a little more. Of course, gun value varies from person to person.

Totoe i have one that has recessed cylindrs and pinned barrel in 2 1/2 . i gave a guy $180.00 for it. and it is in great shape.
your rifle is probably worth at least $450 if in mint shape.
i would not do a even trade ,i would get some money to boot. i sold a 19 for my buddys shop and i think i sold it for $250.00.nice guns but not worth near what your rifle is.

A 19 in mint condition should bring around $250.00 to $275.00. Worth less than your rifle, but a lot depends upon how many rounds have been thorough it.
