Default Huntin with "Long Range" pistols

I'd like to hear about your experiences with "long range" pistol huntin'.
I mean, what kind do you have? (Encore, Contender, Striker etc...)
What caliber?
What I'm really curious about is how far have you, and would you, shoot an animal with your pistol.

I love this forum and I can't tell you how much I learned from asking questions like this!
Thanks guys!
Scottie

Default RE: Huntin with "Long Range" pistols

I have the T/C Encore, love it! I have killed 2 deer with the 15" 7mm-08 at 75 yardsor so,not that long of a shot. But I also hunt woodchucks with my 15" .223,my longest kill with the handgun is 243 yards...
