Anyone ever see or shoot this gun with the new stock...is it a good gun?

Are you kidding? It's an absolutley horrible gun. After all it's the Nova just with a few cosmetic changes and we all know how terrible he Nova is. Sorry, had to.

Anyways... It's a Benelli, have they ever put out a less-than-quality product?

A couple of my buddies have them, and they like them. I personally don't like how loose the slide is, but that's just a personal preference. I prefer shotguns with tigher slides, like Wichester 1300's, Remington 870's, and Browning BPS's.

I doubt they are anywhere in great numbers yet..Only thing I didn't like about the old Nova was the rattling forrend..if this one doesn't rattle then it is a real keeper.

I have the Nova and the SBEII with comfortech, both are great guns, I can see how adding the comfortech stock to the nova would help with recoil. I have never had a problem with either gun and to take the rattle out of the nova forend just tighten up the two allen screws on each side. It is a simple easy fix.

Gundigest, thanks for the info..a friend of mine is going thru a nasty divorce and wanted to sell his shotgun and I handled it and liked it but I didnt care for the rattle. He then placed it in a gunshop to sell on consignment.. I am hoping it doesn't sell and I get another shot at it.
