I just pick up a parker hale rifle in 6mm but has no model number on it.I think it is a model 81 but it has a heavy ingraved floor plate with a ram on it and the model 81 did not come with this. I then throught it was a model 1200p but mine has a 22 inch barrel on it. can anybody tell me what model this gun is I got it for $250.00 ( GREAT PRICE) for this gun it is 98% or better any help would be great. thanks

no it does not have FN stamp on the action. the only thing on the action is stamp BNP and the s number 355## it looks like it is part mauser but there is a big steel lug thats is about 1 inch long and .5 high that locks in when you close the bolt. it is a 5 digit sirese number and over the stamp BNP look like a crown this is stamped on the action and the barrel hope this helps.

THATS IT. I throught I had seen that action before. OK now what model is it I can't find it in any books that I have none of the model in the book says anything about the 1903 action. I just put a scope on it and went outside to the range I have in the back yardand was getting some very good groups at 100 yardseven if it is a cheap scope. I guess it is time to order a new scope for it. Looks like a keeper and for the price how can I lose. Thanks a lot Vapodog
