.Not sure of the model but i was in the local gun shop,today and he pulls out these little ruger rifles,compact 16 1/2 barrel,they come in these calibers 243,308,223,and one other not sure what it was,said he had sold like 50 of them in three months,they are cool,wood blue,or grey lamidate stainless,you have got to check these rifles out......

I looked at them about three months ago .The stock is just to short for a bigger person to shoot comfortably . For a kid or small person they would be great .

Saw 'em around a few shops look neet. If I was wanting a compact gun in either .243 0r .308 I'd get one. Didn't mention .223 because I'd opt for CZ's light weight in that caliber because it has a single-set trigger. I'm nearly 6'3&quot; and the stocks didn't seem too short to me.
