Default Jeeps anti hunting commercial

I was watching a football game last weekend and a Jeep commercial came on with a guy in a Grand Cherokee driving through the woods with 2 deer tied to his SUV. Hunters were popping up from tree stands and around trees gawking at this supposed hunters deers and commenting on his trophys when he comes to a clearing with a big sign that says no trespassing and no hunting, which was where all the hunters were, he then stops, gets out and unties the deer and tells the deer that they are safe now. I felt a total slam was placed on hunters and made us look unethical. Did anyone else see this? I felt like calling Chrysler and complaining but it probably would do no good. We are coming under attack more and more.

Today's Jeep's suck anyway. Consumer reports and about every off road and 4-wheel drive publication loath the new Jeeps. The quality as, a rule, of about any Chrysler product is below average to well below average. Jeeps haven't been worth a hoot, since the CJ-5 and CJ-7 days.

I'll stick with my Chevy Z71. At least Chevy and Ford, give the appearance that they have a little bit of respect for hunters and fishermen.

Thanks for the post and don't get discouraged at the lack of response. This was your best place to put this post in the Gun Forum. It seams if you put it in the Hunting Politics forum very few people read it. But the some of the moderators want it put in the Hunting Politics forum not to get the message out but to keep their forums clean of this type of thing.

The WLFA also suggesting everyone writes Chrysler . You can get the address by clicking below.

Keep at it!

I would suggest alot of people puts some pressure on the local sportmans mags like field and stream, american rifleman, and others. They might not do a story about it, but a few of our letters might reach the readers write pages. At least to inform the computerless, tvless people of the world about the subject.

I've got a '78 CJ-7 that's more Chevy than Jeep; 400-Trans and a custom 350 v-8 installed with alot of help from a gear-head friend of mine. The new ones are Chrysler/Euro-trash!! I'll NEVER buy a new one, more now than EVER!!<img src=icon_smile_angry.gif border=0 align=middle>

I just completed the petition memtioned above. It was easy and took 2 minutes.

I informed the friggin Krauts that they have chosen NOT to sell any more Jeeps to the American sportsmen. Let's see if the yuppies can support them all by themselves.
