i got a remington m7600 special run in .25-06 and will soon be getting one in 7mm-08 , now in 2005 , the 7600 runs were made in .25-06 , 7mm-08 , 6mm rem. , and the .30-06 in the anniv. edition with the maple stocks , and in .35 whelen , and .35 rem. with walnut or synthetic stocks.
my question is , what cartridges and formats has the m7600 special runs been available in in past years ?????? i'de really love to know

I am not really aware of many if any special runs as we know them now that were made until recent years. The 7600 and its predacessors have been chambered in most all calibers that were popular along the way. However I think we will see special runs from now on. I hope they are not as limited as the 6MM was. Many years ago the 222 was used as a training rifle in the military. I have seen some of these which were heavy barreled models. That is training for match shooting.
