Hey Guys, Looking for some help.......
It's a long and confusing story so I won't bore you with the details .....bottom line I'm trying to figure out if my rifled barrel (Ithaca model 37) is ruined since it had 4 rounds of birdshot fired out of it. I've cleaned it & it looks ok as far I can tell, but I have no clue.
Thanks in advance for your help!

Shooting shot or Foster-type slugs COULD lead up the bore, and cause loss of accuracy. But, if it looks OK, it is OK. You can see leading. It looks like dark, irregular patches in the barrel. If the rifling looks clear and sharp, your bore is OK....
Keep yore powder dry!!
