A Question For Encore Shooters

Looking back, I wished I didn't invest so muchmoney into the encore with this 204. I bought the barrel cause it was on sale for 200 dollars, and figured all I would have to do is add a forarm and rings. Now its turned into pillar bedding the forarm, oversized hinge pin. I could have got a dedicated bolt by now.
But the good thing is once you have forarm bedded, it should fit any other barrel the same way. Should. Bad news is the pin is now made to fit the reciever perfectly and barrel perfectly. And if I get another barrel, I will have to probably take to get reamed to same dimensions. Maybe not, it maybe too big and in that case you can't add metal. If you don't get that hinge tight, the gun will never shoot good.
