Has the supply dried up where you live? They vanished here real fast after the news of Winchesters closing got around. They are starting to come back on the racks but 500.00 is about as cheap as you will see one and most are in the pistol cartridge calibers. I checked a local Pawn shop this morning and found a Ranger 30-30 that was new or darn close to it for 249.00. Just wondered how the Market is elsewhere. Walmart was sold out but now has a few Model 70's in 30-06. A few dealers say they have orders for Levers out but don't expect to get many if any. The 9422's are selling for 600.00.

There's not much left up here in Northern NY. Gander sold out of them last week. I just picked up a 9410 at the gun show in Barre VT for under $500 (Choke tube version). Saw the same gun on the internet with people asking $575-900. I had wanted one prior to the announcement, so I figured I better get it now. Most other winchesters at the gun show had all ready been overpriced. I bought a .44 mag lever 3 years ago and love it.

Sportsmans Warehouse had some 9410's left and my Nephweh bought one last week. They had not jacked up the prices yet so he got a pretty good buy. We each bought a 44 Mag model 94. He got the trapper and I got the Legacy. they were 379 and 399 then. They are all gone now.
