Those were a special made shotgun made for Sears and sold in a line of outdoor gear with Ted's name on it. I could be wrong, but as memory serves those guns came out in the 60's and they were made by the Savage Arms Co.

You're right! I havea J.C. Higgins Mod.51 .30-06 and itis a Husqvarner Mauser. My first rifle. My father paid $99.99 for it at Sears & Roebuck!
