I have an old 742 (1961) that needs new stocks foreend and aft stocks. Pardon me for the wrong terminology. But anywho, I tried boyd's but the website is freaked up so I could not find if they have then or not. I would like to have wood replacements as this is a restoration project of sorts. Any hints or idea's where I might can locate such items?

I have been searching for a while on Ebay and gunbroker but I usually get outbid. They pay over 75 dollars for the stock. And I can't pay that much. I have a good forarm but looking for a satin stock.

I did one if those a while back and got my "blank" from Fajen. I say "blank" because it took very minor fitting to the metal and it came out nice ( doubled my money when i traded it in). Try doing a search fro Fajen and see what you get. Good luck

BTW I believe you are after the butt stock and fore end.
