Great choice. You'll be very happy with the Tikka. I love mine, best rifle I've ever owned and the best of any I've seen between all my friends and family. I'm not as big a fan of the T3's but they are still really a great gun for the price plus one of the few rifles out there with a 1" MOA guarentee. My next rifle will probably be a Sako 75 stainless... but since I have the Tikka Whitetail hunter in stainless I can't see a reason to upgrade until I have more money than I know what to do with.
I would concur with the others to go check out the Zeiss scopes. I bought one after comparrine it to a Leupold VX-III in the store and the Zeiss was brighter for the same price. I've been very happy with the package. Plus I really like the looks (I've since swapped the laminated stock out for a composite for better durability).
