The Burrus Fullfield II's are good solid scopes. I think, for the money, the new Bushnell Elite 3200's offer better optics. I don't know what kind of a deal you can get on the Burris FF2, but the Leupold Rifleman/VXI scopes are usually about the same price.

Bushnell elite 3200 in 3-9X40 is about $189 at swfa.com. Real nice scope, i have one on my 17hmr. The optics are crystal clear and very good light transmission.

I really like the fullfield II line of scopes. For the money its hard to go wrong with them. THe elite 3200 are good scopes but I like the asthetics of the Fullfield II better. I also really like the ballistic plex reticle. It is great for longer range shooting.

I own 11 Burris scopes, from a old fullfields to a euro diamond. (I also have 3 lupies and a Ziess) I really feel thatdollar for dollar they are one of the best scopes availible. I think optically they are a good scope and they are well (heavily) built.

Over the years I have managed to destroy tascos a simmons, two lupies but those burris seem to keep on trucking.

Before I bought my last scope I looked at a lot of comments on the SWFA forum. The one complaint that surfaced repeatedlywas that Burris customer service/warranty support was less than exemplary.

Overall Id reccomend the Fullfield II
