I was looking at this rifle for a kid.....has anyone shot this rifle? How is the overall performance?

I have read mixed reviews regarding this rifle. Most reports are not good in the accuracy dept. The little NEF 223 is a good shooter and a great rifle for youngsters. You can also get them in the youth model in 223, 243 and 7MM-08. I have the later and its a great shooter. You can also add thefull lengthstock later when they grow into it. The stocks are cheap and can be ordered direct from NEF. At one time the NEF rifles had sticking case problem but all the new ones have a Mechanical extractor that will solve that problem for good. I have eight of the NEF rifles and or extra barrels which can be added dirt cheap as well. www.hr1871.com No I don't work for them or sell their products. Just a Handiholic.
