Very nice indeed.............except for that piece of hardware attached to the forend.
Please let us know how it performs and I mean not just accuracy wise, but how it functions. That is, how smooth is the bolt, what does the trigger feel like, does it feed those short fatcartridges without any hiccups, etc.....I've been leaning heavily towardputting one of these in my cabinet, soit'd be nice toget some feedback from you. Thanks.

Thanks for all the kind words, looks like Kimber puts out a pretty nice rifle.I will soon find out how it does. With that soda staw barrel I will opt for 3 shot groups instead of my usual 5 shot groups. The bolt is smooth, the trigger is very crisp but does haveslight take up/creep.
This is my first short mag and will be hand loading for it. Does the 300 WSM have a favorite powder(s) for 165-180 bullets? As for the 30 calibers I have now it will be interesting to see how it performs. In my stable are...30-30 win, 308 win,300 sav,30-06,300 h&h,308 norma mag,300 win mag,300 wby mag and 30-378 mag imp.
life is good, give God the glory....doubleA
