    I was looking in the Remington catalog today, and sawthe Managed Recoil shells, has anyone tried these, arethey as good as theysay that they are?

    what caliber are you wondering about? i just looked online and the 30-30 wasn't listed for the managed recoild rounds. you don't really need it with a 30-30.

    I fired a box of them in a .30-06; the recoil was about like that of a 30-30. They seem to hit a little high, compared to the full-power cartridges I'd shot already, but overall, I was very pleased.

    shot them through my 270. Recoil was somewhat less than my 30-30
