I was telling you guys a while back that I had traded off my 7600 Remington then kicked my own but and was lucky enough to buy it back as they still had it. I picked it up yesterday after a short layaway. I was looking at the new Federal Fusion ammo and wondered what you think of it if you have tried it. It says it has a silvertip and boatail design. I have read reports of pretty good accuracy but have read or heard nothing about its performance. They call it a deer hunting bullet at least in 150 grain. Thanks for any info you guys might have. This 7600 has shot every load that I have tried in it into 1 1/2 inch or better groups. In fact it just does about 1 1/4 average with everything. I would love to see what it would do with a real good trigger. I don't know if much can be done to the trigers on them.

Ya know, they do have the ballistics right on the carton, but I cant remember for the life of me what they were. I shoot a 30-06 as well and I must admit that I dont have my own reloads perfect and probably will be using purchased ammo for hunting. This fusion seemed cool according to petersons hunting mag, the price is right too. I think it was 15.50 for a box at the sportmens wharehouse. The hornady stuff was like 23 bucks, Sheesh! Yeah, fusion will get a try. EJ
