I've been using Barnes 85grs. XLC's, but going to try some Hornady 95grs. SST's this yr. I' ve had real good success with the SST's in 7mm-08, 257mag., and 7-30-Waters. I want to see how they perform on deer and hogs..at over 3300fps. (wby240mag.)

I shoot a Remington 700 in the .243. I mentioned in another post that last deer season I dropped a big 8 point @300 yards with a 75 gr NBT. I have dropped 5 consecutive bucks, all with one shot, all in their tracks. I use it for coyote hunting too. I shoot mainly factory loads, not into the handloading scene. She likes all the Federal Premium Ammo as well as Hornady.

I have a custom .243 winchester. It has a bull barrel and a custom trigger(that i think is a little to light of a pull i).I have shot to 400 yards with this gun and i made a 31/2 group with it, and i am not the best shot neither. This gun has blown hogs apart at 400 yards using Hornady 58 gr V-Max Moly. I also like to shoot Winchester Silvertips. My gun hates federal and will not shot good consistent groups with it. For deer I like to use 100-grain spitzer's from nosler. I also havent shot at a deer over 150 yars even though i am sure it would work good out to 300 yards but i might think about that one. I wouldnt want towound the deer.
