They are suppost to group what ever your gun normally shoots. If your gun shoot a 1.5" group the accelorators should be close. I have not shot any but that is what I have read.

I've shot them out of the 30-06 for fun but they are not very accurate, the one's I realy liked where the one's the had in the 30-30(discontinued) they made great T/C contender foder for ground rats and coydogs.

I know someone that uses them, I'm not very impressed. He said they are good out to about 150 yards, then they are not very accurate at all. And from what I saw they were not that accurate to begin with. About what people are describing here.
Wouldn't the whole point of having a lighter faster bullet be to get more range out of it with less drop? I mean the whole goal for a varmint round is flatter and more accurate. If they are only good (and I wouldn't consider these groups good) out to 100-150 yards it seems rather pointless. Why not just shoot regular 30-06 bullets out of it? Mine shot great at those distances and beyond. Didn't have any trouble taking out a woodchuck either.
I can think of better things to shoot if that is all the distance you are looking to get. Heck a .22 mag would do that, and I have a .17hmr that is awsome at those distance, and waaay more accurate. Not to mention the shells are only 10 bucks for 50 rounds. Heck it sounds like my inline muzzloader would work better than that. Mine shoot more accurate than that with 350 grn PR bullets at 150 yards. And you should see what one of those does to a woodchuck! They will not be crawling back into thier hole, I'll tell you that much. I'll admit it doesn't shoot as flat or make them explode on impact.
From what I can tell they seem like a good idea, it just didn't work out so well. For the performance you get it doesn't seem worth the effort. I would just find a decent bullet that shoots well out of my 30-06 and stick with it. Just learn to hold over at longer distances if you have to.
I am going to assume one advantage would be reduced recoil because of the lighter bullet? Shooting a -06 all day long wouldn't be very fun.
