Copper Removal

Cleaning any gun is easier if you clean it right after using it.
However, whenever you clean your guns, you need to use a copper solvent also until you no longer see any blue on your patches.
I use shooter's choice.

I use Hoppes Benchrest Copper Solvent. I just put a few soaked patches through every day in the case of a heavily fouled or negelcted barrel and let it sit. I repeat until the patches begin to come out clean and then just clean and oil with regular solvent/oil. I've gotten an old Mosin Nagant bore to shine this way.
