i don't really have a go-to rifle right now. i've never hunted yotes, but i plan to try it this year. then i'll use my Rem. 700 BDL in 30-06 with the 55 grain .22 cal. accelerators.

I don't hunt for coyotes but I often shoot them while deer hunting so its usually whatever I am hunting deer with. If I were to go out after coyotes I have a 223, 22-250, 243 and 25-06. I would use the 22-250 unless I was expecting really long shots. If so I would use the 243 with the 85 grain bullet or the 25-06 with the 90 grain Sierra BTHP GK.

we went on a yote hunt with our AR-15s one night, but we didnt get NEthing because one of in our party had the...... hersheys=) and everytime we moved he had to go. we just quit.

Cant say I have a go to rifle more like a go to shotgun, I use several rifles for yotes but prefer my mossberg 835 topped with a famous maker red dot scope loaded with heavy shot's T shot coyote loads. Its very effective up to 100 yards.

Sako Hunter in .243 topped with a Zeiss 3-9x40. Yesterday I got 3 of them with this rifle at 90 - 120 and 200 yards.

I use a Ruger Mini 14 in .223 with a 3x9 scope.

243 w/an 85 gr bullet? I thought this was a cape buffalo or dangerous bear round? :D

I would reccomend 100 gr for cape buffalo and the 85 is fine for bear.

Nope. It's a Varmit round from what I've heard. ;)
