i got a new mini 14, ranch rife, stainless steel, wood stock at the indy 1500 gun & knife show. it was only $425, brand new! it is awesome! fun as heck to shoot, even it isnt the most accurate thing. as long as i can get groups the size of a paper plate at 150 yds, i can hit a yote running with a 30rd. clip.

hay sure shot 2009 your mini will do better than that if you play a round with differant shells. i have a stainless rancher on composite. with pmc shells i can break clay pigeons at 200 yards with a cool barrel. i use the wolf brand shells if i am going to shoot full mags for fun. it a good way to turn money into noise. they are cheap about $100.00 per 1000. and even the wolf shells don't shoot to bad. it will never be a target rifle but they shoot alot better than most people think.
