nice lookin cat. my brother and i caught a whole bunch of cats this last summer. none that big. but had one break the line that had to be huge considering we both had on 60 lbs spiderwire. going back this commin summer after the big ones though. what were ya usin when ya caught him?

Finally we are going to start talking about catfish. Was that flathead caught in a river I presume? I just went out last week to catch some threadfin shad with my castnet. I'm brewing some chum/sour bait right now for the spring. Nice cat though.

yes caught in the san saba river here in texas. was using small perch about 1 1/4 inch long.well i never had any luck with chum when fishing for yellow cat just for channel and blues.you find the yellow's by big logs and holes in the banks usually 5 foot of water.
