Trout fishing at Lake Waikeremoana and Tuai hydro channel.
I took a road trip to lake Waikeremoana to chase trout for the afternoon, armed with my new spinning rod some new trout lure's. It was a productive afternoon I hooked six trout (4 pulled the hook)and I landed two, one male Rainbow trout caught on the main lake and one rainbow hen caught at the hydro station channel. Both fish were released.🤙👍

Thank you Sir, appreciate it. This lake/park area has a good rainbow and brown trout population. Boat or flyfishing, with some accommodation, and you can obtain permits to hunt red deer within the park.
