Boat loading made easy for me so I don't have to get out.
Not saying this is the safest way but it keeps me out from between the truck and trailer and the dock.

Power loading is hell on not only the ramp but ESPECIALLY the prop! Where do you think all that stress is going while the prop is pushing but the boat can't move? I have 2 very good friends who are noted, custom prop builders in OH & they are adamant about powerloading NOT being good for your prop. Besides flexing the prop, think about the crap you are sucking off the ramp & thru your propeller as well! That same stirred up sediment is being sucked into your engines water intakes as well.
Back the trailer another foot & just let the boat glide up into position. Use the winch for that last couple inches, the load will be very light & easy because of the depth.

Power loading is dangerous not only for you, but also for the property of those who load and unload after you dig out the bottom of the ramp. Its how many people's trailers get damaged every year. Its also how many people get injured every year.
