here in Northern Vermont this morning. Cold still nights like this makes good safe ice pretty fast. We'll be ice fishing in just a few days if this keeps up!!!!

Right now at the house it is 7 degrees and the steam is pouring off the lake showing that there is a difference between the lake water temp and outside air. I hope it stays calm and things should start to catch ice around here.

Wow, fast ice there, We haven't had a night in the teens yet in mid-Michgan. Need some colder temps.

Christmas is over and all the parties are done. Tomorrow I'll be out on the ice somewhere.
