Fishing joined by an eagle!

Default Fishing joined by an eagle!

Check out this story on www.wildramblings.com about these guys fishing for largemouth bass and were joined by a bald eagle. Here is the link http://wildramblings.com/ .

We see the eagles all the time up here. I also feel the osprey is better at fishing than the eagle is. Although they both take a lot of fish off the water. The eagle also like to take small animals off the water as well. I watched one on one particular day take a baby duck off the water for a meal. That is the short and sweet of it all as I am not much for all the rambling.. Here is a pic I took of an eagle sitting in a tree waiting for something to come by..

Great photo of the bald eagle! In southern VT at Somerset Reservoir you can see 5 or 6 eagles a day, but I have fished in the Rangeley of Maine on Aziscohos and you are correct, eagles and ospreys rule there!

I believe the Bald Eagle has really made a come back. We see eagles all the time here as well. They are beautiful. SOme of my other favorites are..

All the warblers,
hummingbirds
Indigo Bunting
Kites
Orioles

Birds are very special to me..I'm a former Audubon member..I love birds.

Here's an Indigo Bunting

and a Hooded Warbler..{ -; don't get me started..LOL
