Default Trolling Motor Size??

I just got a new 14' alluminum flat bottom john boat. What size trolling motor would you recommend. I dont want to get teh most expensive if a cheaper 30 thrust would do just fine.

Is your 14 foot heavy duty { Aluminweld } or light..rivots.

The 40s are not much more from Cabelas..I'd go at least somewhere in the 40spound thrust.
