Yep, I am gettin back into some tournament bass fishing. I go Wednesday to prefish for our first tourney. Its been a long time since I have been in a bass tournament. Startin out small, 10-15 boats a tournament. If me and my partner do good, we will go to the regional trail in a few years I suppose. This is bringing back some memories for me already, and reminding me how much it really does cost. Ill update after Wednesdays prefish expedition and Saturdays tournament.

you'll meet some really good people, and make some good friends, the only down-side is if you draw partners and you get the guy that tells everybody in the club where, how and what on everything you do, over-all its a good experience, just be cautious with what info you share and with who you share it, you may end up with company on every one of your spots

My partner is one of my best friends so we are good there, but prefishing went good yesterday, had 5 fish, two good ones, in just a few hours. We just fished long enough to set up a pattern. Ill reupdate you after the tourney.

Lake Waccamaw, NC real shallow body of water, but real big too. Lots and lots of little fish with a few big ones mixed in. WE are fishing a creek off of it, the depest waterin the lake, 17 ft in the center fishing brush piles with topwaters and worms.

Let me change that, its not real big, its just like a fish bowl about 5 miles total of the lake.
