Well, it was just one of those days, not meant to be. Two keepers won the tournament, only like 3 lbs, but plenty of short fish were caught. I lost one that would have went over 5, he got me in the dock I was pitchin, nothin I could do. Then I lost a keeper on the very next cast, couldve won the tourny on those two fish alone, heck just that one wouldve done it.

it happens, we had two t's last W/E finished 4th in both, we got big fish saturday, then sunday we missed 3rd place by less than an ounce, both paid 1 place for every 10 boats, all we did was donate
better luck next time

Thanks MT, glad to hear you did okay. Next tourney is in a small creek on the 19th of Sept, so I got plenty of time to prefish. Just hoping its a good topwater and spinnerbait bite.

Sounds like a lot of fun. Tournament fishing is more stressful than going out to the lake for a relaxing day of fishing. I really miss tournament fishing but sometimes I really enjoy it more when I don't put so much pressure on myself having to catch fish and just go out and relax.
There is also so much to learn from other members too. Good Luck and enjoy, catch some biggins.
