Cool birds, but what is special about a swallowed tail kite? Is it a rare bird to see in the wild nowadays?

Yes sir,
I use to be a member of Audubon until I noticed they had anti tendencies. I'm still a birder though. ANy bird that you don't see very much is considered a 'good bird ' by birders. This bird is a great bird for us Floridians. We don't see them alot.

Neat!!! Ive done one Christmas count with Audubon and got about 5 life birds with them during the count. They know their stuff. Once they found out I hunted..there was weird vibes..
The lean toward the anti hunters..
