how do you catch grass carp? my neightbor has some 2 footers and i want to catch them but dont know how to besides bowing them

Ive heard of apple pieces, corn, grass on a hook, all kinds of crazy stuff. Your better off snagging them.

i snagged one with a treble hook one time and try to snag them with lures too but t5hey always swim away [:@]

Try boiled corn or minnows that what always works for em down here in Alabama.

Most folks want grass carp in their ponds. Unless there are too many of them or he really wants them out of there, i would leave them alone.

The best way I have found is to put chicken livers or corn on a circle hook, and fish the bottom almost the same way you do for catfish.Make sure you have a big rod and reel and some good line.

i want to catch one because they are so BIG and ill try some of your suggestions. and i would do catch =/release with the carp becasue there are only 5 or so in there
