Fishing "Myths"...

Went out at 6:00 PM about 1 hour ago..until 7:30 PM nothing..very windy..I was throwing a jig, rubber worm and this Tandem Spinner Bait..At 7:15 I got 3 nice bass...on this lure ..That makes 15 boated on this lure in the last 3 outings..It's much better than the Rooster Tail..It attracts bigger fish...it doesn't spin in circles like the Rooster and the big hook keeps most of the fish on..OH..and you can fish the weeds where the bass stay.
I need to buy some more..my bigger baits didn't work..only this small 1'4 ouncer..and I only have one.
Fish will turn on and off just like that..Kalvin..It also helps to go to a place that has a lot of bass.
I like fishing before a new moon and a full moon..Mornings ae usually good...and I also like windy days..
This bait right here Bayou is the best spinner bait I've ever used..My skirt is totally white though..I hope wally has them. This baby is 6.50 a piece on the Bayou site..[&o]

IMHO yes ..size is alot..Bill dance thinks so too.
I go light..I like light jigs..3/16 diffently nothing bigger than 1/4
and spinnerbaits...nothing bigger than 1/4 .Actually I was wrong on the size. They are 3/16 which is plenty big enough fo rme..
I like baits that sneak through the weeds rather than bust through them like an army tank..Live bait don't bust through anything IMO..I'm a finesse type guy..I don't like extra hardware on my line..

Well, There are many diffeent kinds/brands of spinnerbaits.I know some of you may be on a fixed budget andI just didn't want someone to buy a product that I endorced that is garbage..My confession was...I thought I was using a Booya spinner ...until I went out and bought a Booya spinner..I was not using a Booya spinner because Booya puts their name on it..and so does Strike King..TO be honest with ya..I don't know what brand it is..I wish I knew..One difference in this spinner though..I plan to post a picture..note the angle of the bend in the wire..the spinner that been working for me is nearly a 90 degree bend..The one that's been working great is the upper right one..NOt sure what brand it is..the only difference..notice the wire bend is nearly 90degrees..the other 3 are on a 45 degree angle..The top left is a Booyah..the willow is too skinny to fish goodIMHO the bottom left is a Terminator..it vibratestoo much for my liking,,a little like a Chatterbait ..the bottom right is a Mini Strike King..I like them pretty good.I have many more but these are what I'm using now..

Thanks Brent,
The other day I tried out the other 3 for about 1 hour...I caught nothing.I didn't want to strike out so I tied on the straight wire..and caught 5
Now why is that?? I 'll tell you all why..presntation..you just don't want any ole spinner bait. I want a bait that..
a. doesn't pick up weeds easy.
b. that stays upright more than sideways
c. tht the blades turns on slow retrieves..
d.and for me doesnt' vibrate a lot..I like a slim line flash slipping through the weeds rather than a circus busting through
Summary..I only use what I have utmost confidence in.
This goes with all lures..jigs rubber worms, crankbaits etc..when I fish..I become that lure..
and also the right line, reel and rod..I also need that feel ..balance and confidence on hook sets and keeping the fish on.
Brent, Stanley also stamps their name on the blades as well...What my plan is ,,,is to find some nice #3 willow blades off of ebay..I can put them on my spinnerbaits and it should fix the problem..There is a whole page of them on ebay right now..just none like I'm looking for .[8D]

i never noticed if my spinners went upright or not lol nor the vibration either....i have alot of light spinners and dark buzz baits. what would happen if i used a white lure with dark water?? im excited for the next time to fish! oh another myth is that the water is "too cold" any truth??
