flourocarbon line or any other???

I'm a fan of Stren but I did not like the magnathin line. It is very weak compared to original stren. As far as flouro goes I use it and like it but it doesn't last long, its not very abrasion resistant at all. Atleast not the Vanish. I have more success with it over mono fishing walleyes, but if you fish all day long, its usually done for at the end of the day.

After using Berkley Fire Line for the past 2 years, I'd never go back to monofilament. Strong, small diameter (actually it has kind of a flat cross-section), sensitive, a totally different feel. There's very little current drag/resistance.And few if any loops or birds nests. The down-side is if you usetoo heavy lb test and get snagged, it's almost impossible to break.
And you can cast a mile with this stuff.
