any tips? im goin on sunday to a small trout pond

I am not sure what kind of trout you are fishing for. Here we fish mostly brook trout and they are native. We like to fish for them in 4 to10 feet of water. We use small live bait or a sweedish pimple with a small piece of cut bait on them. Sometimes just a line and sinker with a small piece of cut bait on the hook as well bounceing it up and down slowly if they are stealing bait.. Good Luck.
