Hey buddy,
At a tackle shop a man came out of no where and said.."If you want big slabs ..go to Lake G.." I went there and he was correct. my neighbor and I caught about 50 and kept 20 nice slabs..Check out my Crappie thread..
It had no boat ramp and I must have a 2nd person to dock my boat..Super steep hill

when you bump a fish close itsmouth in order to get a true measure.
not quite sure but i thinkthat crappie wouldbecloser to 14 inches with its mouth closed.
