If you' re fishin a lure of a specific colour and aren' t getting any hits, how long do you give it before switching colours or switching lures? Thanks.

very good question....im an impatient guy..when seeing what color is working i throw my lure to all the likely places a few times maybe 3 maybe 5 or 6 if i think a fish has to be there...if nothing i change or move...but i fish from the bank and dont lure fish much...spinnerbaits..inline spinners..spoons and flys..thats all the lures i use usually...i have a few hard baits and worms but my normal baits i mastered fishing usually work so i never get time to try new things....one day i will......

I guess it would depend on what I' m fishing for...I have always had luck the first one or two casts in a new area. I probably spend more time than I should, because I vary the speed, action etc, while I cast in different locations from the same area.

I' m one of the die hards. I have a few lures that I really like espically purple 7 worms and stick with it for hours. Probably not the best but what the heck.
