Hey guys I'm planing on getting a new motor for my boat. I've been looking at a 15hp nissan(sp) 4 stroke. I'm just wondering if this is a good motor? Plus I want to know if any of you use 4 stroke motors, and how are they compared to 2 stroke motors? Thanks for any suggestions.

My brother bought a brand new 4 stroke Mercury a couple of years ago. He hasn't to many problems with it but next year he's looking at getting a larger boat with a Honda 4 stroke. He is very impressed with the Honda. The Honda 4 stroke is very quiet and good on fuel.

Thanks for your help
I do like honda motors, but I don't like the price that goes with them. I've always owned 2 cycle motors for my boats, but with the laws changing I figured I'ld go with a 4 cycle engine. Maybe I will keep looking sometimes you can find a good floor model, or a left over model.
