Now I know why it hasn't been fished in months...no bites...
The map showed another pit connected to this one but the lack of rain made it inaccessible..so I made my own canal by pushing my boat through.A 10 foot gator was waiting on the other side..[X(]There were no bites over there either..only gators looking at me..I pushed the boat back through and went on home...This ditch was made by me pushing my 10 footer through..

note ...the 2 pits in the center .The biggest is Tern Lake...I made a path to the next small pit..There is no ramp for Tern..I had to lower a rope down about 80 foot to wench it back up the bank..It was a trip.I did find a ton of bluegills though.

WOW, that sounds like a lot of work Chuck!!! I was hoping for a good report from you. No way would you find me messing with those gators..
It does look like a nice place to fish though and a nice looking background..

You got that right..Actually , I may go this weekend. I'll fish the way I used to fish when not under pressure..Get there early,,,enjoy the sounds of nature..Try different places and lures...have fun. Then, all fish regardless of sizeare exciting.

That's the way I like to fish, by just relaxing and enjoying the time out there away from it all. Anything else is a bonus to a nice day out... I also tried some perch fishing out to Pokey lake and had a hugh largemouth break my line as I had the drag set higher for realing in those perch.. One never knows what will happen when you are just enjoying the day out..
