Default Trout fishing with powerbait...

Hey guys,

I have not fished in ages...

I wanted to know about catchingrainbow trout.

My rod will have a treble hook and some power bait (dough ball).

For effective fishing is this good? Or do I need to add a sinker, bobber?

Also, what other alternatives are there? May 31st is the last day oftrout fishing in my area, so I need to catch a few. Help!!! Please!!!

Once some1 campin beside us kept getting their bait stolen by a fish and later on i got a rainbow with powerbait still in its mouth after stealing the other guys bait. fish must hav been hungry. it had 2 doe balls in its mouth and still went after my line lol

powerbait on a treble hook is great. get the orange bottle or use a cluster of salmon eggs. no weight unless strong current

when i fish with powerbait i use a small #14 eagle claw treble along with 2 small split shots. Seems to work for me. The key is use a very small ball just big enough 2 cover the hook if you get to big it doesnt seem to work near as well.
