RE: Biggest bass
Calhoun COUNTY, yes, you're north of me. I looked you up, you're close to Atlanta. We're about 25 miles west of Albany, Ga. in Leary, a tiny little town that's really just plantation country.
You know, Chuck7, I met him way back then but we weren't friends until I met my husband years later, and THEY were friends. I'm going to have to go through some of my pictures and find the one of him asleep on the big boat with his head in a card board coke flat of prototype lures he had designed the day before so he could try them out that day with us. You'd get a big kick out that pic - he did.

I'd love to see the pics..I never used a rubber worm till I came ot Florida in 1981...I learned to use them and Mann's was what I used. Some guy from church told me to buy th eblack worm..I did and WOW..I started catching fish. I don't see them in stores anymore though.

I didnt weigh any of my biggest bass, just measured them. Longest was 23.5 inches, caught probly 5 that were between 20 and 23 inches as well. The 23.5 incher was full of eggs, the others were all caught in late summer.

RE: Biggest bass
I have caught a 4 and 5 lb already this year but my biggest I didn't get to weigh but it was out of our farm pond and he was caught on a 6'' jerk bait and totally destroyed the lure. His mouth was so big I could put my fist in it and it would not touch the sides of his mouth. I want to say he was 6to 7 lbs when I am comparing him to the 5 lber I caught
