Just wanted to see if anyone trout fished WV here and if so have u been out yet this year? Do any good and where all have been?

Never fish in WV, but have fished for Rainbows inLake Nantahala on the reservation in NW NC....

Used to trout fish in WV all the time before I moved to IL. You can't go wrong with the cranberry river.

or the elk river c&r, where you have a legit shot of watching a 30" trout hit a #32 dry fly

Yeah Wv trout fishing is great i have been fishing Wv for 7yrs or so and it is definantely fun! JoshK was right when he said its nothing to watch a 30''er get hooked into! This is why i figured i would get more replys to this post!

it not really a popular state im guessing. i know down south and up orth they are both great, but ion the south it has to be just right conditions for them

well i usually catfishnot trout fish, but a few of my buddies do.. they havent been doin that good though... ill let u know if they catch something
