Well we didnt have the scale near by and i wanted to get them in the water ASAP so i figure the 35 1/2 incher was about 17-18lbs and the 33incher was about 14-15lbs

The thing is at that lake lots of people just catch regular size which is around 27inches they just dont know how to get the big boys and guess what, I do, hehe

It looks like some great fishing you have going on there lethal, we do not have very much in the line of pike. We do have some big lake trout if you are lucky enough to hook into them though, Congrats!

I like catching big pike through the ice, but I don't think it compares at allto early spring fishing when they're in really shallow and you're twitching a big Sluggo....ohhh....getting all excited
