Opening Day MI Pike, Pics Before and (After.. Coming Soon)
Caught Last Saturday of April, 2006. 6 lb Test, Ultra-Lite Mitchell Spinning Rod/Reel Combo. 38 1/2" 9.5 lbs. Great length, not much fat on her. Just got a call from the taxidermist and she is done. Will be picking her up tomorrow with pictures to follow. Good Fishing.

I got this fish mounted because I am exteremly proud of it above all. It is the largest length fish ever caught out of the private lake that I live on. I live for fishing and judge everything on a basis of the lake I live on. I could go to Canada and catch a 30 pounc Northern that would just cost another 2 grand for the trip, but it isn't what I enjoy. I enjoyed the 30 minutes fight with 6 lb test on an ultra-lite rod that he put up.
If that isn't enough, I will continue.
