Balsum Wood..
In real life..weighted foam. You know ..those 3 in a pack deals.from Walmart ..about the size of a nickel.
I do like Balsum wood though to.I use those kind when fishing shallow for bluegills. In a couple of hours I'm going crappie fishing ..one more time.There. the water is 10 foot. I don't like bobber stops so I cast the little nickel sized weighted bobbers

next question

Light spinning reel...
Diawa GarciaShimano Quantum Quick

Deffinately bigger fish. We used to have it good catching big fish. Now we have troubles catching small ones every cast. I am not complaining though.

next question

Light spinning reel...
Diawa GarciaShimano Quantum Quick

I would deffinately go with Quantum. I have 3 of them and just can't seem to find a better ree. Although I have never used a "Quick", Quantum is my choice.

Would you rather fish a windy day or a calm rainy day?

Buckhunter..I have 2 Shimno Syncopates. Last year I tried a Garcia C101 ..I am addicted to the Garcia...
Why??? Oh my goodness..super smooth..super high speed retrieve. a flat out nice reel

My Shimanos were ok..but the bail was coming out of it's hole. and no where near as smooth as Garcia and did not cast as far..and i did not have the confidence i have in Garcia.

I went out and bought 2 more C 101 s. I use my Shimanos as back ups.

Would you rather fish a windy day or a calm rainy day? now to your question

Windy day...where I fish at I can easily get out of the wind. In the rain I might get sick.[]

This has happened to me ..choose one of these.

1. A black ***** welding a knife coming at you why your all alone casting Rooster Tails in a pit deep into the woods. You are fishing off the shore.

2. Your in a jon boat and wind kicks up gust at 30 MPH..your boat is out of control and half filled with water. Your 4 year old is in there screaming.[8D]
I'm telling you guys..I've beento Hell[:@] and back.

Fly in fishing/

Travis , I wasn't being racial here. I was serious. When I came down here to go to Bible college there was 3 adult shops / topless bars around the area I fish at. I wasn't name calling. The black man wanted me.I was dressed in a thin pair of running shorts and I was spinning for bass. So I was serious when I said a ***** black man. I wasn't trying to be mean. I was scared to death. We had just had several murder and rapes at this time. I was cornered. I had already saw him early so I drove to the opposite end of the park. I went deep into the woods to an isolated pit. I made one long cast with my 1/4 ounce white Rooster Tail...I turned around and there he was smiling looking crazy. I was horrified...I whispered "God please help me." I had taken some martial arts and quickly reeled in my bait. All I could think about was the worst. I thought not without a fight. I'm very passive unless backed into a corner..Then ,I flip out. I yelled my Karote call LOUD as I could and began slashing my rod in his face. ..yelling "Get the .... out of here!" he went backwards into a thorn bush and I got out of Dodge. From then at this park I packed a pistol in my box.

Next question...

Fishing opportunity

California Florida Texas
