Default Pike and Salad

The Tipup was vibrating in the hole when I reached for itto set the hook! All the line was out. This could be exciting eh. Fish on! WowThe battle ensued. Bringing in all the line, it feels like a monster. Then the weeds began coming out of the hole, more and more weeds and then finally the pike. Now I have a fish plus salad.[8D]

The pike measured 28", nothing to brag about, just good eating size. My buddy and I caught a total of 6 ranging in size from 24"-28". Had a great fishfry but decided to leave the salad on the ice.Lots of fun eh.

I was catching that size on tip ups consistently but then I started jigging with a shiner and doubled my catch
